Hi, I bought a US/Canada region HP Tango printer, I’ve moved out of this region recently and I need help to reset the region on this printer to be able to accept the ink cartridges from the new region (Asia/Pacific). Right now the ink cartridges (804) I’ve bought in the new region, which are designated to work on Asia/Pacific region HP Tango printers, do not work on my US/Canada region HP Tango printer, this pretty much makes my printer useless as I couldn’t find the US/Canada region ink cartridges out here. Please let me know what do I need to do to perform this regional reset? Many thanks!

I will be more than happy to help you out here.

 

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

 

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.

 

Let me know from which country to country the printer needs to be reset.
