HP Officejet Pro 9025

Hello,

We recently moved to the UK with our HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 which was purchased in the USA. I've read I need to perform a regional reset to allow our printer to use the 963 cartridge available for sale in the UK vs the 962 we used in the US. Would someone be able to provide me instructions?

Thanks in advance.

HI@jrcase45,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP  HP Support Community profile.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. Where was the printer purchased and where is it been used?

4. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Keep me posted. Happy to help!
