I am located in Costa Rica.  I just bought a number of ink cartridges for my printer in the US (Code CNxxxAN z10) but the printer is using cartridges CNxxxALz30.  The Latin American cartridges are very difficult to find here and that is why I bought the ones I have in the US.  The printer does not recognize the US cartridges.  What can I do?  I really like the printer.

I understand you would like to use the cartridges from the USA region.

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP  HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
