Hi, I recently acquired an HP 107w Wireless Mono Printer. However, it appears the region for this printer is different from my own region. The toner that came with the printer is the 107A, whereas my country uses the 106A toner.
I have tried testing a 106A toner in it, and it continuously gives an error and refuses to print. When I swap back to the 107A, the printer works perfectly fine.
Is there a way to reset the regionalization of my printer on my own, as I do not always have the time to sit and wait in a support chat or call. I am a fairly busy person and need to be able to reset this printer on my own in my own time.

Hi @Nadia2804
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. I will surely help you with the Regional reset.
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.
4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Good Day Rachel,
I am having issues with the printer connecting to the HP Smart app - both via USB and wirelessly. It connects to my mobile device, but any attempt to connect to the laptop's app is futile.
Please advise.
Kind Regards
