Posted  a while ago - I moved from the UK to the US with my HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 and discovered that printer cartridges have regions - so the 903 cartriges I used in the UK are not available in the US and the corresponding cartridge is 902. However, my printer says it is incompatible.

 

A HP customer support person said I needed a regionalization reset on my printer from UK and US and provided some steps but they did not follow up afterwards. Can anyone offer additional advice as to get the region change done? Many thanks!

Welcome to HP Support Community! 

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
