Product: HP Deskjet 1010 Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Deskjet 1010 (from 2014) - yes, it is old, but it works perfectly and does the very little that I need.

 

I bought the printer in the US and have now moved to Mexico. I have been reading the other forums about this and calling HP support but no one has been able to help me. I keep getting transferred around.

 

I have the cartridges for my region (122) and need help doing the regionalization reset. Can anyone here help me with this?

Update:

 

I finally talked to someone who said that they can walk me through the process but that it might brick the printer. They have no way of knowing if it will work.

 

I am not sure how HP could brick their own printer so I have not gone ahead with the process.
