Hi @AConnie,
Welcome to the HP Support Community I'd like to help!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
Please help us with the Printer serial number or the product number on a private message for further assistance.
Here is the link to find the product number:- Click here
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name, or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
I am still trying to solve the issue with the regional reset for the printer. I contacted my local HP support, after paying a fee of 25 euros to be able to call them and talk to a technical expert. After a long chat they recommend me to buy original HP cartridges, as the printed it giving me a cartridge error.!?
I tried to buy the HP63 cartridges here ins Germany but they are not available ! I am slowly running out of options.
Can someone help me ?
C.

I just wanted to report how I got my printer changed from Europe to the US for printer cartridges. I bought my HP 7740 in Germany and it would accept the 953 and 953XL ink cartridges, but those are only available in Europe. The US uses 952 and 952XL. In order to fix this, I called HP support ( 1-833-808-5049 <PC> / 1-833-808-5047 <MAC> ) and they helped! You will need to have your old and new cartridges in hand at the time of your call.
1) First, they had me give them the part numbers and expiration dates for my old cartridges. Then they had me give the part numbers and dates for the new cartridges.
2) I installed the new cartridges, but the printer showed errors ( I expected this ).
3) Next, we navigated to the web page ( https://<my-printer-ip>/#pgPrinterRegionReset ). Once there, I gave them some codes on that page, and they gave me codes back.
4) Once I entered those codes, the printer reset and the cartridges were accepted!
I hear that HP might support that operation 2-3 times if you find yourself relocating often.
