Hi @Ancaeus1948 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reinstall the desktop software for your HP OfficeJet 4620 All-in-One printer, follow these steps:

Visit the HP Support Website: Go to the official HP support website to download the latest software and drivers for your HP OfficeJet 4620. You can access the website at HP Support.

Enter Product Information: Enter your printer model (HP OfficeJet 4620) in the search bar on the HP support website. Follow the on-screen instructions to locate your specific printer model.

Select Operating System: Choose your operating system (e.g., Windows or macOS) from the dropdown menu.

Download Software: Locate the "Driver-Product Installation Software" section and download the latest version of the software for your operating system. This package typically includes the necessary drivers and software for your printer.

Install Software: Once the download is complete, run the installer file to install the HP printer software on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Connect Printer: During the installation, you may be prompted to connect your printer to the computer. Ensure that your HP OfficeJet 4620 is powered on and connected to the computer via USB or over the network, depending on your setup.

Complete Installation: Follow the prompts to complete the installation process. The software should set up the necessary drivers and utilities, including the desktop control icon.

Restart Your Computer: After the installation is complete, it's a good idea to restart your computer to ensure that all changes take effect.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
