Hi @PhilFlannery,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Remove a printer from your iOS device, including the HP Officejet 6970 that you no longer own.

Please refer to this document: HP Printers - Update Your HP Smart Account Information

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for you suggestions. Unfortunately it doesn't help. The document to which you refer shows a printer with a button beside it "Remove Printer". When I view my printers in HP Smart two are listed, one is active on my Instant Ink account, the other I disposed of a couple of years ago and there is no "Remove Printer" option beside it. So how do I remove it please?

If it'll help here is a a screen shot of my printers in HP Smart - the printer options below the 6970 just opens a button that says "manage printer settings' which leads to an option to add the printer back again. There is nothing to remove it..Screenshot 2024-01-26 at 14.40.14.png
