We moved a HP 9012 printer to a different colleague but we can't register it to his own HP Smart account. It's still connected to another account but we don't know who used the printer the last time.

 

How can we fully reset this printer so we can add it to a new account?

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Instant Ink Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To answer your question: The previous owner of the printer has to cancel the subscription and then you have remove the printer from the previous owner's account. Only then you will be add the printer to your Instant Ink Account.
