Are you talking about Eprint? If so, turn off web services, perform a factory reset through the control panel and then login to your HP account and delete the printer. I do not believe that you can reuse the same email address on a new printer if you have setup a custom email address on the old printer.

From my memory you can't reuse email address of your old printer (for new printer). Same rules like other emails such as Hotmail, Gmail ... even company emails: can't re-use email of a retired employee for new employees with same name.
