I want to remove the pin requirement for my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdn printer.  I do not want to have to enter a pin for anything.  Is that possible?

What functions are you finding pin dependant. If you installed Smart and are using the online package then typically you will have to enter a password or pin. The way around that would be to download the HP Smart UPD (Universal Printer Driver) which will give you direct printing with no cloud interaction required and then configure scan to folder to save to the harddrive of your computer, which will also not require a pin or password other than the one you save when you initially create the scan to folder function. As far as the embedded web server goes, there is no way to disable the pin requirement for that.

We are deploying this model on our domain and i do not want to have to enter a pin every time just to make a simple change via the web browser.  Thanks for your reply but from what i can tell, the pin can not be turned off.
