Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every time I go to Windows Update, there is an update waiting for my HP 178mfpnw. I click on install and it appears to go to 100% in less than two seconds, but clicking on "Check for Updates" and there it is again! Any suggestions more than welcome.Screenshot.jpg

Hi:

 

You can run the Hide Windows Update utility that I zipped up and attached below, to prevent that update from showing up.

 

You can use it for just about any update that comes from Windows Update from showing up if you have issues with it.

That's rather neat - not come across that before. As the printer works perfectly, I've run that and now that dratted update no longer appears.
