I own an HP 570-p069 computer, I have a Canon PIXMA TS5320 printer, and for several years I used HP Scan and Capture, but sadly no longer available. I have tried to download an alternative such as IJ Scan Utility but with no luck.

Any help would be grateful received. I am 83 yrs young but normally do not have problems using my computer, and grew up with "if it is not broke then do not fix it !!!

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Change can be tough.

In this case, the HP Scan and Capture application you were using has been retired as of earlier this year (2024).

Other products provided by HP for printing and scanning are dedicated to the support of HP printers.

Windows provides their own tools - Windows Scan and Photos for printing / editing images.

True - that's not why you here --

Perhaps the Canon Community can help you continue to use your Canon Printer.

I have been using the same HP Pav570-p069 computer and Canon TS5320a printer for the past 2–3 years; all I require is a replacement for the now-defunct HP Scan and Capture. Do you have any suggestions?

Most HP products are meant to use with HP devices, in this case, an HP printer.

There must be something, of course -- I do not have any experience with Canon products and which apps and software are best suited.

HP Scan and Capture was popular and is missed by its many fans.

I do not know of another HP product you can use with your Canon Printer.

Perhaps another HP Expert would like to comment, else do check with the Canon Community.
