Require Region reset on HP Envy 5530 Printer.

Printer bought in Europe and now have relocated to Australia and need region changed. Both cartridges ran out. Europe cartridge is 301 and in Australia is 61. Have two new cartridges colour and black, and both not recognised. Hiden menu has wrong region (Region is 4, which makes no sense as apparently this is not Europe ?????). Beleive for Australia it should be Region 1, obviously cannot change it.

 

Need ;instructions to change region code please. Also should original European cartridges be required, I no longer have these. Threw them out.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
