Hi, may I please get instructions on how to factory reset the MFP M28-M31? I changed my wifi name and wasn't aware of how unnecessarily difficult it is to reconnect . Why in the world is this so difficult?

Hi,

Restore the network settings of the printer, then you may reconfigure it from the HP Smart app.

Once restoring the network settings, make sure your device is connected to your home Wi-Fi, also review the network list and look for a network name starting with HP-Setup, if no such is visible restart the printer and restore the wireless settings again,

 

Once this was verified, open the HP Smart app and click the plus sign, then click Set Up for your printer to reconfigure its wireless connection.
