Hi @Generaljoe,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?
Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
Turn On the Printer:
- Ensure the printer is powered on and has a steady power connection.
Access Settings Menu:
- Locate the control panel or touchscreen on your printer.
- Navigate to the Settings or Setup menu.
Find Reset Options:
- Within the Settings menu, look for "Printer Maintenance" or "Tools".
- Select "Restore Defaults" or "Reset Printer".
Perform the Reset:
- Confirm the action to restore the printer to factory settings.
Example for HP OfficeJet Mobile Printers
HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer:
- Press the Home button on the display screen.
- Select Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Confirm Reset.
HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer:
- On the printer control panel, use the arrows to navigate to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Confirm the reset by selecting Yes.
I hope this helps.
