@Ericaboo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding resetting your printer password!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I see you're trying to reset your printer's password to connect to Wi-Fi—I've got you covered!

If you're referring to the Wi-Fi Direct password, you can find or reset it like this:

On the printer’s control panel, go to Wi-Fi Direct settings (it might be under Network or Wireless settings).

There, you should see an option to Display/Print Wi-Fi Direct details—this will show the current password.

If you want to change it, look for Wi-Fi Direct Settings > Edit Password, and set a new one.

If you meant the printer's admin password (for logging into the settings page in a browser):

Open a web browser and enter your printer’s IP address (you can find this in Settings > Network).

Log in—if you forgot the password, try using "admin" as the username and leave the password blank.

If that doesn’t work, you may need to reset the printer to factory settings (let me know if you need help with that!).

Let me know what worked for you, or if you’re referring to something else—I’m happy to help! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
