I tried to set up a wireless connection between my laptop and the printer. As a consequence, the printer can no longer be reached by any means. The LCD display interface freezes in the initialization phase for a long time with the blue back light of the Network button on. After a long waiting time the text displayed may change (in some trial starts differently than in the other starts) but no button seems to react on pushing it in this phase. Finally, the device reaches Sleep phase from which it is not able to return.
Are there any way to go back to factory settings which is now not possible in the standard way due to passivity of the Settings button? I have tried a number of different hard resets proposed in Internet.
The printer behaved in an odd way from the very beginning in 2017 by reporting an accessory (cartrige) problem although the cartrige was the original one. But it was possible to ignore the problem by just clicking OK button.

Hi @Pahkina,
I'd like to help!
I understand the display freezes and is stuck on the initialization screen.
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
