@brapip, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Download the HP Officejet Pro 8610 Driver for Windows 11
Go to HP’s official driver page:
HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer series Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
Click “Choose a different OS.”
Under “Driver-Product Installation Software,” download:
“HP Officejet Pro 8610 Full Feature Software and Driver.”
Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Set Up the Printer via USB (Not Wireless or Bluetooth)
Plug in the USB cable from the printer to your laptop before or during the driver installation.
If you’ve already installed the printer wirelessly before:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
Remove the wireless printer if it exists.
Windows should automatically detect the USB connection. The HP software will then configure it for USB.
After setup, make sure it's set as default:

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
