Thank you for responding. I have not made my problem clear. My printer is connected to my network and I can print with it. I have the HP app (used to be HPSmart). My printer was set up and I could see it in my devices. Somehow I deleted the printer from the HP app and I am trying to get it back. I found a solution on the HP support web page. It says to do a factory reset on the printer. I don't know how to do that and the instructions I found didn't work. I was hoping for another way to restore the printer to the app. It won't let me add it as a new device. I have given up. I can print. I just can't use the HP app.

To restore printer, open your HP app, then click in the button "Add device"
* Click YES to say thank you,
* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
