My printer screen is stuck on the message "Return to Setup Website."
I have a new HP laptop running Windows 11 Pro and a new HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer. I have:
- gone through the printer setup--turn on, load paper and cartridges; everything that the instructions say.
- downloaded and installed the HP Smart for my laptop (HP) and my phone (Mac) to find the printer and put it on the network.
Nothing I do will connect to the printer, and the printer screen remains on the Return to Setup Website" message. I've turned it off and on several times. The blue light, which at first was not flashing, is now flashing. I still cannot connect to the printer and get it off the same Return screen.
How do I get past this message. How can I reset the entire printer back to factory settings without any of the touchscreen tools? This is inordinately frustrating.

Open the paper tray and load paper.
Once you install the cartridges the printer will be doing an Alignment page.
If the screen message appears again just click the "?" question mark.
Then click the Exit option

I cannot be more grateful for your answer. It worked beautifully. Not a single entry in the HP community that I found answered the question accurately and with no confusion. You freaking rock! I hope that HP knows what an outstanding contribution you just made to their community. If they only made their software as well as you fix it. Thanks again.
