I just recently gave my grandfather my old printer and am having alot of difficulty getting it to connect to his network or computer. please advise me on how i can get this printer set up so that he can use it.

You may need to reset the printer

If no smartphone the WPS pushbutton method is described on page 56 of the users manual. I think you have only 2 minutes to get back to the printer and set it up once you press the WPS button on the modem.
