I've setup an Officejet 8260 to scan to a network folder on Synology DSM. To do so I had to enable SMB1. However, SMB1 is deprecated due to security breaches. Can I obtain the scan to network folder on this device through a more secure protocol?
I haven't seen a list of what is supported.

Hello @lodig,
Something similar worked for me, too. My NAS is a Windows 10 Pro system, and enabling SMB1 (which is disabled by default), restored the "Scan to Share Folder" functionality. In my case, it was important to reboot both the Windows system and the HP printer after changing this setting. SMB1 is considered obsolete and a security risk, but it's the only way to restore this feature.
