After "automatic" upgrade of Drivers for Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M479fdw, the scan program does not work - it did before the upgrade. When running that installer HP Print Scan... it does not install. It demands of me an admin login, which is crazy because I have only one login since I purchased this product combination, and all other installations work. So what can I do?

I got some kind of fake reply, telling me to give details. Is this is standard trick to delay the process? I get the idea my question was'nt carefully read!

I don't know what more details I can provide. I've given what is relevant in my first question. I reckon you know how the upgrade functions in Support Assistance, work and I've already given the error message. After an automatic upgrade of the printer (given) driver, the printing works but the scanner does not. Before the upgrade I had also configured the scanner function to work. After the upgrade I thus try to run the Scanner driver installation to configure it again (isn't it rather primitive that those settings are not preserved through the the upgrade?). Directly when I start the scan function setup utility I get the message that I need to run it as ADMIN. But I am already logged in as ADMIN, so there is no way to get further. I have no other login! It's a catch 22! I've also tried again after having re-booted the computer. I cannot think of this indicatting nothing but some kind of bug in the initial steps of scanner driver install...
