Samsung M2026 MacOS Big Sur drivers

Hi, I have macOS Big Sur installed. I cannot install the printer because the system needs drivers. There are only drivers for macOS Catalina on the HP website. How can I install Samsung M2026 printer on macOS Big Sur?

What kind of problems are you experiencing?

I'm using a M2026W on Big Sur (Intel MacBook Pro), with a wifi connection on my lan. Configured with official Catalina drivers and set up with airprint, it was recognized automatically.

Hi,

on macOS Big Sur I want to add Samsung M2026 printer. My printer doesn't have WIFI. I connect it via the USB cable. I go to the settings, printers and click the "+" button - add. I have "Samsung M2020 Series" on the list. I select the printer, then I have to choose the driver. At the bottom, it says that Apple does not provide software to support this printer. When I expand the "Select a driver" list, I have a choice:

- select automatically (option blocked),

- select the software (I only have HP DeskJet Series or HP LaserJet Series PCL 4/5 there),

- Different.

When I choose, select the software, Samsung is not there.

Mine is a M2026W, with wifi, but the printer family, and the drivers, should be the same.

You need to install the drivers before adding the printer, the last version should be this one .

An alternative driver I used on a previous installation can be found by googling m2020_series_mac_printerdriver_v3.72.01

What about new drivers for the Xpress M2825DW, are those available? My Samsung printer of that model isn’t working with Big Sur, either. Only drivers available on the website are for up to Catalina, ie same problem, different item
