I own a Samsung Xpress SL-M2070W printer and an iMac 24" M3 running macOS Sequoia 15.3. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find drivers compatible with this version of the operating system on your website.

Could you kindly inform me whether drivers for this system will be made available, or if there is an alternative solution to enable full functionality of my printer?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards,

Hi @561233, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The drivers available for the Samsung Xpress SL-M2070W printer are compatible with macOS Sequoia 15.3. The latest available driver is MacOs 13.

However, you can try the following alternative solutions to enable basic printing functionality:

AirPrint: Your Samsung Xpress SL-M2070W printer supports AirPrint, which allows you to print without installing additional drivers. To use AirPrint:

  • Ensure both your iMac and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • On your iMac, open the document you wish to print.
  • Click on 'File' and select 'Print'.
  • In the printer selection menu, choose your Samsung printer.
  • Click 'Print' to proceed.

Generic Drivers: macOS often includes generic printer drivers that provide basic printing capabilities. To use a generic driver:

  • Connect your printer to your iMac via USB or ensure it's on the same network.
  • Navigate to 'System Preferences' > 'Printers & Scanners'.
  • Click the '+' button to add a new printer.
  • Select your printer from the list.
  • In the 'Use' dropdown menu, choose 'Generic PostScript Printer' or 'Generic PCL Printer'.
  • Click 'Add' to complete the setup.

I hope this helps.
