I am on Mac OS Ventura (which is not in the dropdown lists) and I have a HP Envy 4500.

 

My issue is with scan settings in the HP Smart app.

I need to scan a large number of book pages and therefore want the settings to show that I am scanning a document, in gray and that the scanner is allowed to find the edges.

Every time I add a new scan, the settings revert to the defaults (photo, colour, no edge detection).

It is annoying when you have to do 150 scans and the settings do not stay on the parameters I chose.

 

How do I save settings?

 

I had a look at the 'Shortcuts' options but these only seem to apply to printing and emailing, so not much help.

 

Would love to know how to choose parameters in scan settings and have them saved. Anyone?
