My Orignal Printer After 10 years The Printing was Malfunctioning  The BLUE Turned Pink The Print Test Sheet  Shows colors it prints. I had it replaced. The Replacement We Got the Printing Issue Fixed. Then I asked about SCAN TO COMPUTER because I don't want to use the SMART APP Because the Printer Assistant Tool Does all That and More. The Chat Support Tried to Fix But Could Not. I have NOW Replacement # 2 because of that Issue. I get Back on Chat Support. He could Not Fix it Either. He Told Me to Contact him by Phone. Ill Contact SMART FRIEND Support I go To Them If HP support CHAT or Phone Cant Fix

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand the scan to computer feature is not working. 

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
 

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

 

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click here.
