Hp Envy 5640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using an Envy 5640 printer for scanning multi-sheet documents. It is necessary that the scans of the sheets of each document are in a single pdf file. I know that I can do this from the PC using the "Hp Smart" app (or other Hp scanning programs as well).
Since the printer is a bit far from the computer I would like to avoid using the app and give the command to scan each sheet directly from the printer control panel, just avoiding returning to the computer desktop each time to give the scan command after placing a new sheet. Currently from the printer control panel I select "send scan to computer" and enable scanning. The problem is that each scanned sheet produces a single different pdf file and I have not found any menu item on the control panel that allows me to instruct the printer to add each scan to the previous ones in a single file.
Is it possible to configure the printer so that each scan activated from the printer control panel (and not from the scanning program desktop on the PC) is concatenated to the others in order to produce a single pdf file?

Unfortunately click on links in email sends me to my original Question and it seems there is no answer.

Something went wrong?

thanks
