I cannot locate auto-straighten image setting for PDF scans

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

What you can do depends on your printer model, your Operating System / version, the content, the type of application or software you are using, and the available tool set (settings).

 

General Example - HP Scan (original format) - Save as PDF

NOTE:  Full Driver / Full Solution Printer Software installed

HP Scan - main menu and...

More > Document - Top of menu, select "Straighten Content"

As needed, OK to save change and exit menu(s)

General Example - HP Smart - Mobile - Scan - PDF

Optional Edit > Crop - options includes "skew" by degrees
