HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My problem: Scan to Computer was available following initial setup of my printer, but now it is not available anymore for my main computer.

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 all-in-one device (printer, scanner, copier, fax machine).

The number of this model is: 1KR42A.

On Windows 10's Taskbar, on my computer, there is a scanner symbol with a white cross in a red circle. When I hover my mouse over this symbol, the following message appears: "Scan to Computer is currently unavailable".

A few tens of minutes ago, I was trying to use the Scan to Computer feature to scan a batch of crumpled paper originals from the scanner function's automatic document feeder, but a jam occurred, and out of fear for damage to my printer, I shut it down suddenly, and cleared this jam by hand. The issue described in this post occurred immediately afterwards.

To recreate this issue, I just need to navigate to "Scan" and then to "Computer" on my printer's touchscreen.

The printer will let me know: "Setup Required". On the same screen, the printer will invite me to use the HP software to set up this feature, which is something I do not understand, as I already downloaded and successfully used the HP Smart app on my main computer, and used the Scan to Computer feature successfully several times in the past on my main computer also.

What should I do to continue the Scan to Computer feature on my main computer?

Another question: is it possible that this issue arose from some kind of hardware damage caused by the scanner function's automatic document feeder jam and/or my sudden shutdown of the printer?
