Hello, I have been pulling my hair out for days trying to get the scan to network folder setup working on the the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720. This was working at one point and then stopped. Everytime I select the "Save and Test" button on the finish screen I get the following error:
"Error. Your printer cannot connect the server. Press "Edit: to correct server name and address."
I double checked everything and I even uninstalled the software along with reseting the printer to factory defaults and nothing has worked. I have read a few other articles on this forum about this and tried all the suggestions and still nothing has worked for me. Hopefully someone can point me in the correct directions so I can save what gray hair I have left.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
From the Control Panel please click on Uninstall a Program.
Click on Install/Remove Windows Features from the left pane.
Locate SMB1.0/CIFS and ensure it is marked with a V mark with all 3 options below checked.
Confirm any change and restart your PC as prompt.
Now perform a test and check for any difference.
If there is no change please let me know the share path you are using.

Hi ShlomiL, I'm hoping that this will solve my problem too! I've found the listing for SMB1.0/CIFS and it is checked. However, it is a single entry in the list, it can't be expanded. Could you let me know what the 3 options below should be? Perhaps they are all listed individually on my system?
Thank you!
