I've used the Scan to Network Folder for quite some time.  It directs the scans to a folder on my laptop, all are connected via WiFi.  Suddenly, I went to scan and get the error message:

✖️Cannot find the remote server. Check server name or use IP Address to connect. Check that the remote computer is turned on.

I am at a complete loss, I've scoured forums and have not been able to find a solution.  I've tried adjusting SMP settings, I've of course rebooted everything, and I can communicate between the printer and laptop for other functions such as printing or scanning using the scan utility, but this particular function will not work.  I'm guessing/wondering if it's a bad fw issue?  I see my last FW date of 11/9/21, I don't think I've tried using the functionality between then and now.

@that1brian, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to scan to a network folder. Have you tried to re-setup this feature?

For assistance, kindly refer to these  documents - Configuring Scan to Network Folder and Set up the Scan to Network Folder feature

A firmware may not cause this issue. Also, there is no option to roll back to the previous version.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
