Scan to Onedrive Plug-in Software

I have an HP PageWide Enterprise Color MFP 586f printer. At the HP support website that contains firmware, software, etc, for this printer, there is an update download called "Scan to Onedrive Plug-in Software, released on October 28, 2020. I have downloaded this file and installed it but can not figure out how to scan to OneDrive. The download at the HP Support Page can be found here: HP PageWide Enterprise Color MFP 586f Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support. It is under the "Update" section, 3 up from the bottom. How do I Scan to OneDrive using this printer and using this Plug-in Software? I am at a loss. Thanks so much.

Hi,

The HP Scan to Onedrive plugin adds the capability to scan to One Drive using HP Scan software.

You would need to install the scanning software for your printer and then the update adds the scanning option within the scanning software.

For a USB connection install the USB Twain Scan Package:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/USBTwainScan/HP_PW_MFP_M586_HPScanUSBTwain.exe

For a Network connection install the  MFP Network Twain Scan Package:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPScanTwain/HPScanTwain-1.0.683-HPScanTwain.msi

Once completing the installation of both open HP Scan Twain and select Everyday scanning, then set the Send to option to Oncedrive:

Click on More > and select the Destination tab, then click the configure button to configure your Onedrive account.
