Scan to email issue

I have managed to setup a user profile - it appears on my printer - but the from email address is showing the address to which I want to send my scanned document. When I try and scan I get a server failure. I am struggling to work out which option I use to configure email definition - this is just a home computer with wireless connection for printer.

Any help would be much appreciated - getting very frustrated.

Who is your mail provider. You must populate the SMTP with the correct mail server information and credentials or you will not be able to send mail. If you google smtp settings and your mail provider name you will likely find the information you need. The user name will usually be your email address and password would be the same one you use to log into view your mail.

Thanks for providing some guidance - my email provider is **bleep**.

I used google and it seemed to suggest for email to a **bleep** account my SMTP should be smtp.**bleep**.com and 465 as the id. I tried this but still get an email server error. On google there was also reference to needing to comply with mfa and that I would need to set an application password for HP ... at which point I got very lost :-(.
