HP MFP2604SDW

I have a LaserJet Tank MFP 2604sdw Printer and the scanning deck is stuck in the up position (the position you life it to in order to change the ink.  I cannot push it back down into place.  Is there some trick to getting it down.  Can can find no latch, and the manual offers no help.

The in person tech support helped solve my problem.  It turns out the scanner deck was not really stuck up/open but needs strong pressure to push it down.  I was being too gentle (for fear of breaking something) but it closed fine after pushing down with sufficient force.  Thanks for the guidance.
