HP Laser MFP 135a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am working on a Windows 10 virtual machine and I have installed the full driver and software package of the multifunction printer HP Laser MFP 135a. The printer works fine but the scanner seems to be not recognized.

I further investigated about virtual machine configuration in this discussion, but the issue seems to not related to it. Moreover, on the host Linux machine, both the printer and the scannner correctly works.

I hypothesize that the trouble could be due to the latest Windows 10 driver, but I haven't found the oldest ones to test.

Edit: I have tried  to follow the proposed solution in this thread without any success. Here there is a screenshot of this issue:

Moreover, HP Print and Scan Doctor tool is not able to solve such trouble.

Hi @Elohi_NR,

thanks for your patience and willingness to help me.

Nevertheless I have found the solution autonomosly.

On Windows 10 a system update, called HP Image, is needed to work correctly.

Such patch is available only at MS Windows Update and is not bundled on the latest full driver and software package released from the HP support portal.
