Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i recently upgraded to Windows 10 and the software for the officejet pro 8600 is very different to previous version and has very limted scan features - how do i get the previous version which was very user friendly?

(What you have is the HP Smart apps, not the FULL feature software)

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

 

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Capture.PNGthanks did the down load but it loads the version that i am having trouble with - "HP Smart". The scanner in this app is very limited and you can't change any of the settings and keep the changes.
