Product: Mac Book Pro

I tried to download Hp easy scan from the App Store and get the following message “ can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD”  because OS X version 10.10 or later is required.”  Software version on Mac is 10.9.5 and there appears to be no updates available. Computer I was purchased 2013.

 

any advice for installing software.  Printer is HP Office Jet Pro. 9020

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the scanning issue. 

 

The minimum recommended is OS X v10.11 El Capitan. 

 

You may scan using  Apple's Image Capture (available in macOS 10.8 and newer) . Refer to this document - How to Scan (Mac)

 

For printing, try AirPrint - Printing with Apple AirPrint (Mac)
