Scanning issues with F2400 with HP Smart on MacOS

Hi, 

I have a F2400 Series HP Printer and I tried to scan a document using HP Smart app on MacOS. The Printer was detected on the App. However Scan function is not supported with HP Smart on MacOS. How can i solve this issue ? Is there any other App to scan via printer ?

Hi @printerwodriver 

1. Please download and install  HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:

• https://apple.com/HP_Drivers.dmg

2. Then go to System Preferences > Printers  then  Add the printer.

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. I installed the drivers also. But it says either Scanner is not connected or HP Smart App is not compatible with the Scanner. 

Is there any other app which can work with this device ?

1. Check the USB cable is already connected.
