Hello this is my first time asking for some help here so I am a bit nervous. I am trying to print to a One Drive folder on my laptop, however I am running into some authentication issues. I am trying to verify access however, I cannot get passed this point. I am using a local admin credential, however I keep coming to the same issue.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Important to be on the same page...

Your subject indicates you are Scanning.

The text in your message says you are Printing.

The error message is one I believe is only relevant to Scanning.

So - Scanning...

One Drive is a Microsoft construct -- it won't respond to a local administrator credential / password combination.

Some ideas and examples...

Sign into OneDrive using your Microsoft credentials.

The destination should be Shared, that is, open for Read / Write to those who have an account and password to access the destination.  Find this setting in the Folder's Properties > Tab Sharing > Section (at bottom) Password Protection

Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Advanced sharing settings

The network should be Private --

The Network discovery should be switched ON

The File and Printer sharing should be switched ON
