HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! Just got a new notebook and installed Windows 10 64 bit on it. Before that I had Windows 8 and had no questions about my printer. However, now that I renew drivers and things I found that HP doesn't have drivers for my printer for Windows 10. Printing works fine, but I have problems with scanning. Since HP doesn't support my printer anymore I don't know what program can be used as convenient as HP, like scanning several pages in a row and making it one document on the go. Or having pdf instead of only jpg. I was able to scan directly from the printer's menu, but it's very inconvenient and impossible to have several pages in one document. Please,advice...

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, you're unable to scan,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

How did you install the printer drivers?

I did check the driver page and found full feature printer drivers for Windows 10. To reinstall drivers, click here (Although the printer model shows as HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5520 e-All-in-One, but still this driver will work for your printer too)

Once you have the full feature drivers installed, you will be able to scan.

Or you could try scanning from HP Scan and Capture apphttps://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675206

Let me know how this goes,

Cheers!

Thank you! I don't know why I didn't see those drivers. For some reason hp site didn't detect my printer correctly or something, as I used their assistant. And you're right about the drivers. My brother found them for me after I've written this message. *facepalm* And I now find them myself by entering printer's name.

I really appreciate your help!  Thank you again!
