I purchased a second-hand HP Envy printer several years ago. Recently, I attempted to register this printer to my HP account, but it is still enrolled under the previous owner’s HP account. As a result, I am unable to associate it with my own HP account. I no longer have access to the previous owner’s HP account. I would appreciate your assistance in un-enrolling or releasing this printer so that I can set it up under my own HP account.

Hi @ZoeyZ_2026,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you have acquired a second-hand HP printer that is still registered under the previous owner's account, you have to check with the previous owner to delete the account.

Kindly share the image of the ink cartridges with us.
