Hello HP Support Community,

I'm reaching out for assistance with my HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Printer. I've encountered an issue where my printer claims a paper jam, after managing the paper tray and path I concluded there is in fact no paper jammed. The printer displays the error code 0x6100004a.

Additionally, the printer's serial number is th8961q13t. I've checked the HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 Printer Specifications  and followed the basic troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists.

Could someone guide me on further troubleshooting steps or share if they've experienced similar issues and how they resolved them?

Thank you for your support!

Hi @AngryGuy1111

Please follow steps from the next video:

if the error code keeps showing maybe there is some hardware failure inside printer and you may need to take your printer to a ServIce center for repair.

Also, if you are in Canada, you can change the country option in dropdown.
