Hi there,
I've just loaded an old laptop with Win 10 64bit and would like to connect to a device via serial.
I believe the SOL driver is SP78219.exe (Found from driveridentifier.com), however I can't seem to download a copy. Would anyone have a copy of this?
Regards,

Hi:
The problem is that the PCI serial port driver is included in the Intel Management Engine Interface driver, which W10 installs a newer version of than the driver on the support page.
So what you have to do is to pull the PCI Serial Port driver out of the installation package, and manually install it.
I have done the first part of that for you, and zipped up and attached the driver file you need below.
Download and unzip the file I attached to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager. Click on the PCI serial port needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
