I have a HP Printer Smart Tank 7300 and im trying to have it redirect to a server via rdp. It shows up with a couple PCL drivers but prints gibberish whenever printing from the server. The printers website does not have a driver for a server OS and works fine on windows 10/11. Is there a universal driver that we know works with this printer that will work on a server.

The smart tank 7300 is not a native PDF printer.  It understands only PCL-3 so an app must convert a document into PCL-3 ie: rasterize it.  You cannot just transfer a PDF file or DOCX file to the printer.

Use HP smart or print from the document handler (adobe, word, etc)

if no driver available then print to PDF file and then transfer the file to another PC and have that PC or MAC print the file.  This can be automated securely using SSH and  SCP scripts or just dropping the file into a shared folder where the remote PC looks periodically into that folder for anything to print and then deletes the file if it printed OK.

I suggest you try the HP Smart Universal Printer Driver. It is available for Server OS and does support PCL3 printers though I am not sure if it has been certified for your model.
