Server not found error in browser when trying to download from ftp.hp.com

Hello, i'm trying to ldo the first install of an M28W  printer. When i try to download drivers from the hp web site the download doesn't start because the server ftp.hp.com isn't found by the browser. This happens on firefox, on edge, on chrome and even directly triying to acces the ft from filezilla client. It also happens for every other driver download that calls for ftp.hp.com.

The file i need resides here: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LJ/M28/LJM28-M31_U_Full_WebPack_46.2.2637.exe

Were you able to download the printer driver?

Meanwhile, you could install HP Smart App from the windows store and try printing and scanning of it.

You may refer to the document, to know how to set up and use the HP Smart

Hello Jay and thanks for your help!

Unfortunately i am not able to download the driver as like you can see from the other guys who replied it seems the server isn't reachable, so either the link is wrong or there's problem with hp servers.

Unfortunately i prefer not to create an account on windows, will do if it's absolutely necessary, but i would like to use the printer with its driver like it is intended to and not make it work with a "workaround". Did you try the direct link i posted for the driver? does it work for you?

I tryed again to download and now the download works. I've managed to download the software and hp easystart and configure the printer for wireless use. After the setup it became visible also on android, so right now it works on both pc and smartphone. It seems it was really a server problem. Thanks for your help
