Hello Victor.

Let's try these steps -

1.) Open the document that you are trying to print and then press and hold down the Ctrl and P button together to access the print dialogue box.

2.) Click on Printer Properties.

3.) Click on the color tab to select the option.

If you still don't see the options, please send me a picture of the print dialogue box.

Let me know.

Hi @Victor_19-47

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printer settings.

To better assist you - What's the operating system installed on the computer?

While you respond to that,

If you are using a Windows PC, refer to "Color and black & white settings".

If you have a Mac, refer to point#6 "Print in color or black and white".

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Have a great day!

Hi Asmita,   I inadvertently set my printer to black print only on the  screen at the front of my printer HP OfficeJet 5230.   I have no idea how to revert to both black and colour printing.

I have a Windows 10 system on my computer.   I followed the Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows) and opened the Printing Shortcut tab and can confirm that there are a number of common print settings there.

My knowledge of computers is very limited.

Have been trying for a couple of hours to get through to you but cannot seem to be able to pass the Name/Password checks until now.

Kind Regards and a Hapy New Year to you.
