Hp officejet 3830

Hello! I recently bought a used hp officejet 3830 printer and I’m currently trying to set it up. The problem is that I can’t print anything with the existing cartridges because they’re the instant ink carts. So during research, I found it’s much cheaper to buy a subscription to them instead. While trying to complete my subscription, they asked for some details. Here’s the first message from them:

“Press the HP ePrint icon on your printer.

If you are prompted to set up or enable Web Services or HP ePrint, please do so”.  And here’s the second one:

“Press "Print" or "Print Info".

A page will print containing a code. Once it prints, select continue.”

first of all, I can’t find the eprint icon, and second, it won’t let me print anyways to receive the code. Has anybody got any advice on this matter? Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If you've the insert ink cartridges it means the Printer is enrolled in the Instant Ink Program.

To assist you better, We would need some information related to your Instant Ink Subscription. This information cannot be shared on a public post.

I have sent you a private message, reply to the message with your details.
